Max started west coast swing in college as an outlet from his music education major. He quickly fell in love with the dance, seeking a wide range of perspectives and techniques. With a background as both an educator and a musician, Max is known for his rhythmic soul and passion for partnership on the social floor and as a nationally-ranked competitor, currently competing at the all-star level. Off the floor and outside of the classroom, he dedicates himself to making his house a home through DIY projects. A Washington state native who transplanted to Boston in 2019, Max has made himself at home in the northeast and proudly serves as co-organizer for Dirty Water WCS.
