Always striving to capture the spirit and, especially, the floppy hair of the original jitterbugs, Bobby and Kate teach Balboa, Lindy Hop, and Collegiate Shag nationally and internationally. They have many top placements in national and international competitions, and are European Balboa Champions and the 2009 American Lindy Hop Champions. Recognized for their engaging teaching and thematic classes, Kate instructs with a thorough, mechanics-based method, while Bobby prefers rubber-band analogies and irk-irk noises. They currently throw each other around in Washington DC and help run the local dance, The Jam Cellar.
